Our Story
We are Natalie and McKade, the Cook Family. In August of 2018 we moved to Escalante, Utah and bought an old restaurant that was built out of a log cabin. It's not that we were keen to be in the restaurant business, but the location was so desirable that we knew we could make a go of a business in this spot. McKade thought long and hard about what we would do with the property and eventually we decided that we would create something between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. McKade did most of the remodel himself and in May of 2020 we opened our doors for business. This project has been a labor of love for us and our kids., and we have come to love the hospitality business. It is always a joy for us to meet our guests around the fire pit out back (where S'mores are a favorite). Since we opened we keep learning new ways to make our guest experiences special and we always strive to put our best foot forward. We hope that you will decide to join us for your next stay in Escalante, whatever your reason for being here.
